Table Setting Essentials
I always start with the essentials. I take inventory of my chargers, plates, flatware, and glassware and think through the core elements of my place settings. I love the way a bright white plate looks on a gold charger. I'm also adding black cloth napkins, contrasting beautifully on the white plates.
Centerpiece
To highlight the season, I like to use evergreen garland along the center of my table. I'm adding some citrus alongside the garland for brightness this year. Next, I add in some elevated seasonal decor. I'm using marble trees, gold reindeer, and textured ornaments (super cool, these fold up to save space!). Together these create a luxe vibe! I always add candles for ambiance and like mixing in different heights. I'm using black and gold candlesticks alongside gold votive candle holders.
Finishing Touches
Finally, I like to incorporate some finishing touches. I'm placing a single evergreen sprig on my napkins held together with a delicate piece of white ribbon. For place cards. you can get crafty and use clear ornaments!
