Featured Arizona Restaurant: Seven

SEVEN - Caesars Republic Scottsdale

4747 N Goldwater Blvd, Scottsdale, AZ 85251

Dining experiences are always a joy to share, especially when they’re as memorable as my visits to Seven at the Caesars Republic in Scottsdale. We had the pleasure of dining here twice, once for lunch celebrating my husband’s birthday and once for brunch on Mother’s Day.

For lunch, the menu offered a delightful array of dishes. My husband and I shared a couple appetizers that were delicious! The ambiance, with its sleek, modern décor and attentive service, made the birthday celebration truly special.

Brunch at Seven was an equally remarkable experience. The Mother’s Day brunch featured an extensive selection of delectable options, from fluffy waffles drizzled with maple syrup to savory eggs Benedict.

The combination of exquisite food, stylish rooftop atmosphere, and impeccable service at Seven makes it a top recommendation for anyone visiting Scottsdale. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply enjoying a meal out, Seven offers a dining experience that will be enjoyed!

Travel Highlight: Discovering the Charm of Austin, Texas

Austin, Texas, has been one of my favorite cities to vacation whether it be with my husband and friends or with the kids. We keep finding ourselves visiting and falling more and more in love! Austin is a vibrant city known for its live music scene, diverse culture, and mouthwatering cuisine. Here are some must-visit spots from our recent trip:

  • Live Music Venues: No visit to Austin is complete without experiencing its legendary live music. Head to Sixth Street for an array of bars and clubs showcasing everything from country to rock. This time, we took advantage of  a more intimate setting at The Wayback who hosted Lila and Sofia Music. The Wayback is the most charming and casual boutique hotel with a delicious cafe. The cozy atmosphere and personal touches made it a memorable experience and is only about 20 minutes outside of the city.

  • Barton Springs Pool: This natural pool is a refreshing oasis in the heart of the city, perfect for a summer swim.

  • The Texas State Capitol: Take a tour of this historic building and enjoy the beautiful architecture and surrounding gardens.

  • South Congress Avenue: Known for its eclectic mix of shops, restaurants, and street art, this area is a great place to spend an afternoon exploring.

One of the highlights of our trip was staying at a charming Airbnb on Lake Austin. Waking up to peaceful mornings and stunning evening golden hours over the lake was truly magical. We spent our afternoons enjoying the lake, boating, and taking the kids tubing. It was the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure, offering a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Styling Tip: Preparing the Perfect Guest Bedroom for Summer Visitors

Summer is the season of warmth, sunlight, and hosting guests. One of the best ways to make your visitors feel welcome is by creating a refreshing and inviting guest bedroom. Here’s a simple yet effective styling tip: incorporate light, airy fabrics and fresh, natural elements into your guest room.

Start by swapping out heavy winter bedding for lighter, breathable linens in soft, neutral tones or cheerful pastels. Consider adding a few decorative pillows with summery patterns or textures, such as linen or cotton. A lightweight throw at the foot of the bed adds both comfort and style.

For a touch of nature, place a small vase of fresh flowers or a potted plant on the nightstand. Not only does it add a pop of color, but it also brings a sense of tranquility. Finally, ensure your guests stay cool and comfortable by providing a fan. A small basket with travel-sized toiletries, a few favorite books, and a carafe of water by the bed will make your guests feel at home.
