Drink Recipe

Valentine's Bliss Elixir - Non-Alcoholic

This Valentine's Day-inspired drink that the whole family can enjoy combines the exotic allure of coconut milk, the vibrant hues of dried dragon fruit powder, and the sweet symphony of apple and mango juices. The result is the "Valentine's Bliss Elixir" – a potion that captures the essence of love in every sip. Let the tropical flavors and romantic colors transport you to a paradise of affection, making it the perfect beverage to create with your kiddos. Cheers to romance, family bonds  and the magic of Valentine's Day!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Coconut milk

  • 2 teaspoons Dried dragon fruit powder

  • ¼ cup Apple juice or white grape juice

  • ½ cup Mango juice

  • 2 tablespoon Simple syrup

  • ½ teaspoon Green coffee extract, optional

  • Ice

Directions:

Step 1

  • In a blender- This blender is our favorite and we use it to make so many drinks, smoothies, and foods! All you will need to do is add all your ingredients into the blender and mix until the mixture is creamy! Add ice to glasses and pour!

  • In a cocktail shaker- This is how they make this drink at Starbucks. Add all the ingredients to the cocktail shaker, and shake for 30 seconds so all the ingredients melt together and are well combined.

Step 2

  • Carefully pour the drink into 2 glasses and top them with more dragon fruit powder or dragon fruit chips for presentation. Enjoy!

  • Muddle the blackberries in the bottom of the shaker with a muddler or the handle of a wooden spoon.

Kembra, at the Desert Ridge Marriott

5350 E Marriott Dr, Phoenix, AZ 85054

Phoenix, Arizona has a new culinary sensation, Kembara,  located at the Desert Ridge Marriott. If you don’t know this about  me yet, you  will see a trend in my restaurant choices. It’s more than just the food for me when selecting restaurants. I go for the entire experience including the ambiance, service and of course the menu. Kembara delivered on all fronts, and then some!

As you step into Kembara, you are immediately captivated by its moody ambiance. The dim lighting with pops of fluorescent colored lighting and tasteful decor create an intimate and sophisticated atmosphere, making it the perfect setting for a memorable dining experience. The fusion of modern and funky elements adds a touch of playfulness, making Kembara a destination for both special occasions and casual outings.

The true highlight of the evening was the family-style feast we indulged in. Kembara takes pride in its diverse menu, offering a blend of flavors that cater to every palate. We kicked off our culinary adventure with a couple appetizers including the Steamed Pork Dumplings and Chicken Satay skewers. We then shared the Chicken Khoa Soi and Crab Fried rice along with the Wagyu Beef that was a masterpiece on a plate. Cooked to perfection, each bite was a symphony of flavors that left us craving for more.

What truly sets Kembara apart is its commitment to delivering a symphony of flavors. The fusion of ingredients in each dish creates a culinary masterpiece that tantalizes the taste buds. The balance between bold and subtle flavors is a testament to the chef's expertise, leaving a lasting impression on every diner.

Kembara at Desert Ridge Marriott is more than just a restaurant; it's a culinary odyssey. The moody ambiance sets the stage for an evening of indulgence, and the diverse menu ensures there's something for everyone. Whether you're a local or just passing through Phoenix, Kembara is a must-visit destination for those who appreciate the artistry of food.
